Case study: USA Storage Centers

Centralizing legacy surveillance systems for USA Storage Centers

The requirement

USA Storage Centers, a leading self-storage company, operates 53 sites spanning nine states in the southeastern United States.  Because the company has grown via acquisitions of existing facilities and new development projects, the company inherited a diverse range of legacy security systems, primarily Dahua and TVT.

With an average of 24 cameras at each location, the company wanted to centralize footage from these legacy systems into one unified platform, allowing seamless monitoring across all their locations.

The solution

USA Storage Centers turned to Videoloft’s cloud-based Video Management System to address their complex surveillance needs.

Videoloft is compatible with hundreds of camera brands and, as a result, was able to offer a solution that allowed the company to centralize camera footage from various camera brands into a single, user-friendly interface.

The result

Videoloft’s solution enabled USA Storage Centers to utilize their legacy camera systems; this cost-effective approach meant the company could use its existing hardware while upgrading its surveillance capabilities.

Additionally, Videoloft can be installed remotely, allowing USA Storage Centers to set up and install without needing on-site visits, saving time and resources.
