Reduce false alarms from everyday motion

Smart Motion Alerts help teams respond faster by reducing unnecessary notifications and focusing attention on the movement that matters most.

By filtering out irrelevant activity, teams spend less time checking false alerts and more time reviewing events that need action. This helps make alerts more useful, easier to trust, and less likely to be ignored.

Loitering detection alerts

Create alerts when someone remains in a selected zone for longer than a set time. Choose the detection zone and minimum dwell time, then set the severity, recipients and schedule.

This helps teams identify activity that may need attention without being alerted every time someone briefly enters the area.

View and manage alerts inside the VMS

Smart Motion Alerts can be reviewed directly in the Videoloft VMS, alongside camera footage. Teams can filter alerts by camera, time, alert name, severity, or type to quickly find the events that matter.

From each alert, users can review footage, jump to the live feed, and share or download clips for follow-up.

Flexible alert settings

Smart Motion Alerts give teams more control over when, why, and how they’re notified. Users can choose from zone intrusion, zone exit, zone detection, line crossing and loitering alerts. They can define what triggers each alert, decide who receives it and set when notifications are active.
