Videoloft, the cloud video surveillance provider, has partnered with Conxtd, the cloud-based alarm management platform, to solve the disconnect between Intruder Alarm Systems and CCTV.
Video verification of alarm events is a frequently requested feature. The partnership brings Videoloft’s visual verification, live video viewing and offsite cloud video storage, to CONXTD’s alarm signalling management and monitoring solution. Enabling security installers to install and maintain sites, without the need for multiple apps, receivers or special software.
Videoloft’s software is powered through the Videoloft Cloud Adapter, which is the bridge between the onsite security system and the cloud. It can be added to new installations, or can upgrade legacy CCTV systems to cloud-enabled ones. A Videoloft Cloud Adapter bridge is included in every CONXTD + Videoloft Subscription.
Security professionals can continue to work with their preferred ARCs for their Alarm Signalling services whilst using the CONXTD platform to unify their intruder and fire events with alarm signalling data from CSL Pro, WebWay and Emizon and corresponding video verification from the Videoloft cloud platform.
With CONXTD’s real time notifications and reports, users can easily manage sites and collaborate with their team. CONXTD includes Custom Fields and Views, Reports, Mobile and Desktop Notifications, integration to modern collaboration tools such as Slack, as well as other upgrade services such as SMS notifications.
The partnership will provide an innovative complete security solution in an array of situations; from allowing a user to quickly view video footage to verify an alarm event, to a supermarket manager checking live video footage to understand the cause of a triggered freezer door alarm.
This integration will allow the end user to better manage risk and site performance, while generating a new recurring revenue opportunity for the security professional.
“Partnering with CONXTD to bring video verification to their platform was an obvious fit. It’s a great example of cloud based services working together to connect installers to what is happening on site, in real time and all through one platform.” Joanna Santander, Director of Sales and Business Development at Videoloft.
“Combining Videoloft’s services with the CONXTD alarm signalling platform enables installers to offer a single application to end users to simplify site management, reduce false alarms and verify real Incidents.” Chris Carter Brennan, CEO, CONXTD Technologies Ltd.
