How Cofton Holidays transformed their security with Videoloft’s cloud video surveillance
The requirement
Cofton Holidays, a family-run holiday park set in beautiful Devon, had an established CCTV setup spread across its extensive grounds. With a mix of Hikvision and Axis cameras already in place, the team relied on video surveillance to keep guests safe, support compliance as a licensed premises, and protect key areas like the onsite shop and restaurant.
However, their existing system was Windows-based, and the team frequently ran into the usual challenges that come with on-premises Windows machines – system updates, unwanted reboots, and general instability. At the same time, Cofton were beginning to outgrow their hardware. They needed more cameras but didn’t want to introduce more recorders, servers, or local storage.
So when Cofton discovered Videoloft, they were looking for a solution that could:
